The Meet screen has one big glowing button. Tapping it tells Ocroon: I'm free right now, find me someone. Matching uses your preferences — the age range you set, how far away is okay (a few kilometres up to worldwide), and the languages you speak. It does not use your photos, and it doesn't show you anyone else's.

Someone compatible was searching too. Before the call connects, you see a small card: Maya, 27 · Bengaluru · English, Kannada · you both like hiking and live music. That's the entire dossier. No surname, no photos, no bio to over-analyze. Enough to say hello like a human, not enough to pre-judge.

The call is a normal phone-style conversation with a soft countdown. Three minutes sounds short until you're in one; it's roughly forty "so what do you do?"s long. The timer is doing you two favors: it caps the awkwardness (a bad call self-destructs in 180 seconds, no exit line needed) and it concentrates the good ones — you'd be surprised what people get to when they know the clock is running.
Worth repeating: the call is never recorded. Not saved, not transcribed, not "processed to improve our services." It exists while it happens, like conversations used to.
21:51 — The call ends itself, and you vote
When the timer hits zero the call ends for both of you and each phone shows the same private question: ❤️ or 👎? There's no time pressure and no way to see the other person's answer first. Nothing is revealed unless both of you choose ❤️ — a one-sided yes stays a secret forever.
21:52 — The reveal (if you both said yes)
Mutual ❤️ and the screen you've earned appears: photos, full profile, and a chat that's now permanent. You can message, or call again — the next calls have no three-minute limit. And if it fizzles later, unmatching takes two taps.
If it wasn't mutual? The match quietly ends. You're back at the Start button, three minutes wiser, with your streak of never-being-publicly-rejected intact.
The part most people miss: availability windows
The classic cold-start problem with live matching is timing — you're free at 9, they're free at 10. Ocroon's answer is the availability window: tell the app "I could talk for the next two hours," then put your phone away. If someone compatible starts searching in that time, your phone rings, like an actual call. Answer and you're in the conversation. Miss a couple of rings and the window politely pauses itself.
It's the feature that makes a voice-first app work in real life, where nobody sits staring at a searching screen — and it means tapping Start actually reaches people beyond whoever happens to be staring at their screen that second.
