Ocroon is a voice-first dating app for Android. Instead of swiping through photos, you're matched with a compatible person and talk in a live 3-minute voice-only conversation. Each of you then privately decides; photos, full profiles and chat unlock only if you both say yes.
How is Ocroon different from Tinder, Bumble or Hinge?
Traditional dating apps are photo-first: you judge a picture, then maybe talk. Ocroon reverses the order — you talk first in a short live voice call, and photos are revealed only after both people privately choose each other. There's no browsing, no swiping and no public rejection.
Why can't I see photos before the call?
Hidden photos are the whole point: they let personality, humor and chemistry come before appearance. And on Ocroon this is enforced by our servers — photo URLs are never sent to the other person's phone until there's a mutual match, so it can't be bypassed by a modified app.
Are the voice calls recorded?
No, never. Ocroon does not record calls and never stores call audio. Only basic call metadata — who talked to whom, when, and for how long — is kept for safety and support.
How long is the voice call?
The first conversation is 3 minutes by default. When the timer ends the call finishes automatically and both people privately decide whether they want to continue. Either person can also end the call early at any time.
What happens after the call?
Each person privately chooses ❤️ (I'd like to know this person) or 👎 (not interested). If both choose ❤️, photos are revealed, full profiles become visible and a chat opens for messages or more calls. If not, the match simply ends — nobody sees a rejection.
Is Ocroon free?
Yes. Ocroon is free to download and use, and includes a daily number of free voice introductions. Optional paid conveniences may be added later, but the core experience is free.
Where is Ocroon available?
Ocroon is available for Android on Google Play. You choose how far away your matches can be — from nearby only, all the way to worldwide. An iOS version isn't available yet.
What if I'm not free when someone else is?
Open an availability window — one hour, two hours or until midnight. If a compatible person starts searching during your window, your phone rings like an incoming call and you can answer and start talking right away. Two missed rings pause the window automatically, so it never becomes a nuisance.
How does Ocroon keep me safe?
Calls are voice-only and never recorded; your photos, full name and contact details are never shown before a mutual match; you can end any call instantly; and block and report tools are one tap away. You can also delete your account at any time, which permanently erases your profile, photos, matches and chats. More on the safety page.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — profile, photos, matches and chats are erased. Details on the account deletion page.
Do I need a Google account?
No. You can sign in with Google or with just an email address — Ocroon emails you a one-time code, no password needed. Either way it's the same account if you use the same email.
