Ocroon1. Create a voice-first profile
Sign in with Google or your email and set up a profile: first name, age, gender and who you'd like to meet, your languages and your interests. Your city is set automatically from your approximate location — nothing to type, nothing to fake.
You upload photos too, but here's the difference: on Ocroon, nobody sees your photos until you've talked and both said yes. Your photos aren't a search result. They're a reward for a good conversation.
2. Tap Start
When you feel like meeting someone, tap the big Start button. Ocroon looks for a compatible person who is available at that moment, matching on age preferences, distance (from a few kilometres up to worldwide — your choice) and shared languages. There is no grid of profiles to browse and no queue of faces to judge.
3. Talk for 3 minutes, voice only
When there's a match, a live voice call starts. Before and during the call you see only:
- First name and age
- City
- Languages
- Interests you share
No photos. No video. Just a conversation with a timer — 3 minutes by default. That's short enough to be low-stakes and long enough to know whether you'd like more. You can end the call at any moment, and calls are never recorded.
4. Decide — privately
When the timer runs out, the call ends and each of you privately answers one question: would you like to know this person?
- ❤️ Yes — I'd like to see who I was talking to.
- 👎 No — nice chat, not for me.
Your answer is never shown to the other person unless it's a mutual ❤️. Nobody gets rejected in public on Ocroon — a no simply means you both move on.
5. Mutual yes? Photos and chat unlock
If you both chose ❤️, the reveal happens: photos appear, full profiles open, and a chat is created. From there you can message, share more about yourselves, or hop on another voice call. If you change your mind later, you can unmatch at any time.
Can't talk right now? Set an availability window
Dating apps assume you're free the moment someone else is. Ocroon doesn't. If now isn't a good time, open an availability window — an hour, two hours, or the rest of the evening. When someone compatible starts searching during your window, your phone rings like a call. Answer, and you're talking. It's the closest thing to serendipity an app can schedule.
What Ocroon deliberately doesn't have
- No swiping. You can't browse or rate people.
- No photo-first anything. Photo privacy is enforced by our servers — the app on the other phone never even receives your photo URLs before a mutual match.
- No video calls. Voice keeps first contact honest and low-pressure.
- No call recording. Ever.
- No public likes or rejections. Decisions are private unless mutual.
